Great Little Honda — This is a great little car. The gas mileage is great and gets up and goes. Its alittle small on interior room, but its cheap and a great tuner car to race. I love driving it its like a touring car great around turns. There are so many after market parts for them and you get the reliability of the honda name. Pros: great mpg and sport Cons: only room for two ![]() Looking for a Used Civic CRX in your area?CarGurus has thousands of nationwide listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

'89 Crx Si — Awesome handling, very quick, and cheap to maintain. Makes an excellent project car to make it look fast and actually be fast. Fun to drive. There are parts everywhere for these cars and you can buy them in decent condition for dirt cheap. Seems like you're driving a big go-cart, it's awesome. Pros: quick Cons: need to put money into it |

The Most Fun To Drive Car For The Price — Sporty economical car. Interior: Bucket seats, two seater, lots of room. Low to the ground and short wheelbase for great handling, Light for great pickup Pros: My favorite car in the world. Cons: Older car, harder to find parts for and no airbags |

Fun Little Car — Had the Euro 1.6-16 - the 16v DOHC (D16 or ZC engine) in the UK - good for 130 hp which in a car this size was'nt bad . Superb grip and pretty good handling from double wishbone suspension all round. Good fun to drive - these little Hondas love to be revved hard. Very popular in autocross in the US and when modified make great track cars. VTEC was 30hp more (UK version) but the added weight of aircon and power steering made the cars perform pretty equally on a circuit. Great trackday car! Pros: Grip, agility, nice little coupe shape Cons: Slow steering, snap oversteer, especially in the wet, not quite enough power |

Handles Amaingly — This crx is way different from my first CRX in that it has an engine swap from a 95 civic, which gives it a little more pep. It's got a cold air intake, dc header, and header back exhaust. It is deffinitely a fun car to drive around. It's just my daily driver though. Pros: Suspension: Handles amazingly Performance: Isn't half bad. It will roast the tires in first, squeal them going into second, and chirp them going into third with good shifts. Excellent on gas mileage. Cons: It's an old car, it breaks. Mostly only routine things that need fixing such as the alternator. |

A Great Fun Gas Sipping Go Kart For The Road. — everything form the HF to the Si gets good gas mileage, some better than the others. The CRX platform is a very interesting looking car that most people seem to love, kids like the "Matchbox" look, girls think its cute, and guys can't get past the great performance. The Honda engines are rock solid and supply more than enough grunt to pull along these little cars. The transmissions are geared pretty steep, but the still do well on long distance highway trips. The handling of the CRX is amazing! The short wheelbase and lightweight make it an ideal car for short, quick turns such as in autocross. Since most of the weight is on the front of the vehicle (around 55-60% of it) the crx can also kick out the rear end while doing some high speed turns, which is a blast for more experienced drivers. The interior is tastefully done for a 1980's vehicle and is host to many storage compartments, some of which even lock. Pros: Great for performance, stereo systems, makes a great daily driver. The possibilities are endless for this car, they have huge potential and are great fun even in stock form. Cons: Odd stering wheel to petal distance, either petals need to be brought towards the firewall some, or a dished steerin wheel should be installed. |

The Little Car That Could — Performance, Handling and economy all in one little package. Makes good use of avaiable space. 143mph, 55mpg, just not at the same time! once timed this car downhil 0-60 5.5! Pros: Rev happy, alot of bang for ya buck, best 1.6 by a mile Cons: hmm, not much, 4 seater? |

1989 Honda Crx Ed9 — This car is hardly to compare with the original CRX because lots of technical mods have been made. In terms of reliability, I had some problems (broken brake-hose because of the extreme suspension, problems with the ignition), but I always used to forget these things very fast because my ED9 was such a nice and fast car that caused me so much driving pleasure. Pros: Good performance at low consumption, amazing road holding, very exact gearbox Cons: Pure sportscar, the rear seats can only be used by very small people, driving is getting sneaky once you exceed the limit |
