Gas Saver And Still A Mustang! — It may not be the prettiest ride in some respects, but is overall mechanically sound with superb fuel economy. I was never really fond of the fox body style before buying this but it is definitely growing on me. I can't wait to get a set of custom wheels on it, I think it'll make all the difference in my present cosmetic opinion.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The solid, clean 2.3 under the hood is a total lifesaver at the pump. I am used to driving a 5.0L 305 in a Chevy pickup. This gas gauge barely moves on my routine trips and I love it.

Cons: It is very rough around the edges when it comes to paint job. Not so bad on the rust, could be a LOT worse. I give the interior a 6 out of 10.

No-stang! — Yeah the most recognized pony cars in the U.S. Mine was not no GT or even a good looking mustang for that matter.I could spin the tires on that 4-banger. and the car costed my mom $300. it was my sister's car and i drove it for months. then it went where all mustangs belong. No not on the lawn! in the junk yard. Which i drove it there.

Pros: gas milage,price

"It looks more sleekier, its a head turner and the aerodynamics is still great when compared to todays cars and the exhaust note is great too! Not too loud when driving through the neighborhood but comes alive when youre WOT on the highway."
Front Seats Ranked 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am better.
"More comfortable and better shaped in my opinion."
