Good Every Day Runner — Questionable build quality in certain areas but otherwise a good engine. 3 door hatch is an instant classic. Cheap and fun reliable car, ideal for first time buyers and drivers. Has a tendency to lose grip from the back wheels for an even better time! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Cheap and Cheerful Cons: Questionable quality |

First Car! — It was my very first car and bought out of my own very hard earned college grant which I placed as a bet on a horse in the grand national - great memories!!! I'll never forget this little piece of magic! Pros: Could park it anywhere Cons: Lights had a annoying habit of switching off in the middle of country in the middle of the night!!! |

Red Ones Go Faster! — When landing all four wheels off a humpback bridge at over sixty mph the gear linkage has a tendency to snap. Nippy little thing, fast and light, not especially fuel efficient, made from painted pig-iron and bolts. A timeless car, would have another if it wasn't so so so old! Pros: Simple little car Cons: Ancient |

The King Of The Old School Hot Hatch-backs — The Peugeot 205 GTi, Either The 1.6 or the 1.9 (my is the 1.9) many petrol heads have raved on about this car for many years, and with good reason, both models where amazing cars, in my opinion on rough, tight country roads this lttle car could out run sports cars or probably even supercars, it is so useable at high speed corners, the build of the interior is wot u can imagine from peugeot, very cheap, but u just don't care, i suggest to any hot-hatch fans buy one, clean it up and look after it Pros: Goes Very Quickly, Shocking Amounts Of Grip Through The Coners Cons: Rattles Alot (Due To The Age Ov The Car), A Racing Seat Fitted By The Previous Owner |

Carefull, It Might Bite — This was a 1987 Peugeot 205 GTI, the 1.6l model. It produced 115 bhp and weighted 900Kg. I bought it with a broken engine. I replaced it but I never drove it because it never started again due to the alarm system which shut the whole thing down. This is why I hate it. 8 month were spent on it and it ended up in tiny bits sold all around the country. For having driven a friend's GTI, all I can say is that it bites. It fades under heavy braking, the back end often ends up in front and the engine cannot handle too much boost. (broken engine had a split conrod and split head) Pros: cheap for that amount of performance Cons: tries too much to be like its bigger sister the 1.9l GTI when all it is, is a 1.6l GTI, the 1.9l is much more reliable |
