Good Starter Car. — This was my first car. Little 1.6 I4 about 70hp. It got amazing fuel economy about 40mpg overall. It was reliable but hard to find parts for. I could even find parts at a Nissan dealer due to it having the older engine. Performance was lacking due to the small engine with an automatic transmisson.

Pros: Great handling and the T-Roof

Cons: Acceleration and part avalability.

All Black..stealth Mode! — This car war my first "sport" car. The T-top in the summer time was awesome! All black..Stealth mode! The gas mileage was awesome. I really liked the back tail lights on this thing. They were quite different. I had the best model. It came with the front spoiler that looked like a little front kit. 1.6 engine twin cam at 115hp. It started off quick then it got slooow. I really miss this car and I wished I would've kept it. It was the 2nd nicest Pulsar in Ottawa.

Pros: Looks, T-top, good gas mileage, easy to maintain, descent interior.

Cons: 1.6 engine twin cam. rated for 115hp. It was ok at first but then I needed more power. No after market parts to upgrade or modify. All must be done custom! Not really worth the money.

Hole In Your Wallet — It was ok I guess, served it's purpose. Acceleration sucked.

Pros: A to B

Cons: Hole in your wallet

At Least It Was Holden Powerd(family 2 Engine) — for an everyday car to thrash on the way to and from work it was pretty good, easy to fix, fair amount of botom end torque and had 4 wheel disks

Pros: cheap and easy to run/fix

Cons: easy to speed in and almost lost my liscence in it belive it or not

1987 Nissan Pulsar NX SE Hatchback Review
Saptarshi says:
Amazing car. The first one I owned. It could handle all aspects of daily driving, zipping in and out of highway traffic, had great acceleration and reliability. The only complaint I got was from a tall (6 2) friend who complained that there was no bak seat while sitting in it. Even though it was a little small, it was unfortunate to meet its demise after crashing into a deer late one night.

Handling Ranked 2013 Chevrolet Volt Premium FWD worse.
"The turning radius on this car was impressive. Also, the car had sufficient power."
Looks/Style Ranked 2013 Chevrolet Volt Premium FWD better.
"Despite the fact that the pop-off hood of the Nissan Pulsar was an amazing feature, the interior of the Volt, and the electronic arrangements (including voice commands, with which I never had any problem!) was way ahead of its time. The entire car looked futuristic, and performed as such."
