My #1 Favorite Car. — been to hell and back and always comes out stronger than before. Its a beast being rebuilt from the ground up. Interior is great. could use a paint job. I love driving it. I dont feel right driving anything else, it fits me like a glove. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its fast, its strong yet beautiful, its a chevy. Cons: if you're worried about gas mileage or are too big of a punk to handle some V8 RWD muscle dont drive it.. |

Needs A Heart Transplan — I bought the car in Ohio. I couldnt believe the shape it was in. I drove it back to South Carolina a 12 hour drive, with no problems. The only thing was that I couldnt pass a gas station with it. It smells like a chevy!!! Needs new firepower, rides like a Cadillac. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Its an American Icon Cons: High maintenance |

One Of The Best Cars Ever Made — I had the SS model, I suggest everyone should own one in their life. Whether its stock, or modified. Stock, its not a great performer, but its an excellent cruiser. Modified, and it can be a hell of a lot of fun. My SS was also the rare, Aerocoupe version, which just enhanced the beauty of the car. All in all, if i could get another one, I would in a heart beat. No matter what. Pros: Looks, over all fun. Cons: None |

One Of The Only Good Cars To Come From The 80's — It has an Aerocoupe window (only 4000 made) and its more aerodynamic and valuable. The speed is descent and it makes a lot of noise. The out side has a few paint chips but only i really notice them. oh, and the gas mileage is terrible. Pros: its a classic Cons: bad ass |

Personaly I Love Having It Anddriving It. What's The Point Of Having A Car You Can't Drive — good performance-lots of get up and go when you floor it. gas milage is suprisingly good for the size. body styling is very nice(it's a SS). haven't spent a dime for repairs since i bought it (bought in 92). only money spent is on things i wanted (headers, true dual exhaust-stainless steel, wheels, etc.) nothing better than going for a drive on a sunny day with the t-tops out and music cranked up! Pros: very comfortable to drive Cons: before buying, check for posible rust damage on frame behind rear axle. some years were prone to this |

Monte Carlo Aerocoupe — it's slow only has a 305 in it, needs to be parked and restored. the suspension is sagging, body's rusting, interior's fading. gets horrible gas mileage even w/ overdrive thanks to the carburetor. but thank god that it's rwd... and i wonder why it doesn't have rear tires... Pros: it's a "rare" car, thank you nascar... Cons: it's not weatherproof |

Either You Love It Or Hate It! — My first rear wheel drive muscle car, kinda. I loved the way this car sounded when it didnt have the exhaust leak. The 305 engine is a better boat anchor then a performance motor. I dont know what they were thinking when they replaced the 350 4 bolt with the 305 2 bolt. Pros: Style and Sound Cons: Power, not much of an SS withour power. |

1987 Monte Carlo Ss, Back When They Built Cars. — Runs great, came with a 200 metric trans, but i put a 700r4 in to give it a little more beef. Only problem is that it was the last year with the carb in it, so soon I will be switching it over to fuel injection. Pros: SS so has the upgraded engine package, runs great, no real flaws with the car. Handels like it should for being from the late 80's, not as good as a z28 camaro, but still pretty decent. Cons: Wish it would of came with a 350 instead of the 305, but that can be changed. |
