An Awsome Piece Of Kit — for 22 years old it is in exelent condition only doing 37k. the noise is amazing and the feeling of getting chucked back in ur seat is great but the brakes do let it down. other than that i think it is a terrific car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: the noise and wow factor among pedestrians

Cons: the breaks are shocking

Our Roze — Likes = Very fun with all the low end torque. Dislikes = Some parts are hard to locate, but overall still plenty to get. It is a money pit. But who cares. In a few years, it will be basically rebult. Very fun.

Pros: It is a Corvette

Cons: Considering her age, very little.  Only going to get better with age.

Holy Crap — This corvette is simply amazing! It isn't the most pretty (for right now), but what matters is under the hood. The best time to drive this beauty is at night with the hard top off... It puts you in a setting so indescribable. Another thing that is different is how low it rides to the ground. One negative it has a rough ride due to the stiff suspension. Always have to be careful when pulling into a driveway.

Pros: Raw Power

Cons: Gas Guzzle

Great Car — the engine was originally a tpi (fuel injection) system but it was then converted into a carb setup. this gave it a little more power and a better sound. this car is far from stock and far above any stock or slightly modified camaro and slaps mustangs around and makes them call it daddy.

Pros: insane performance and exhaust notes are a symphony

Cons: black is a hard color to take care of

Beautiful Car! — Just bought an '87 convertible. Z-52 suspension, loaded, drives like a dream and only 20,300 miles! A tight car red on red w/white top. You cant miss this coming down the street. This makes covette number 6 I've ownd and its possibly the best one!

I'd Buy It! — I love this car! I miss the 70's models body shape, but this car is still hot! Needs to be looked after inside and out, specially the door & window seals. Automatic shift makes for a smooth enjoyable ride.

Pros: Big gas tank, great highway driving, handles awesome

Cons: Door & window seals need to be treated regularly/Hard to find parts for, including tires as they don't make the specific size anymore

Just Plain Fun--nothin Like The Top Down And Wind Rushin Over My Bald Head — this is my 8th Corvette, the formers being C2's and C3's. Although I have loved them all, this C4 is a dream to drive and just all around good fun. Not that getting 24-25 miles per gallon around the town and gets it on like a scalded cat is a bad thing, mind you. My first convertible, too. Gotta love it--I may never put the top up--even if it rains (hahahahahah)!!

Pros: driveability, accessibility, pure comfort in the sport seats

Cons: haven't found one yet--I'll let you know

One Of The Nicer Things In Life — i really like this 87, but need to upgrade to a c5 soon because now i know what i need out of the corvette. i want more comforts and power to match. This a very nice car for the first time vett buyer.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Cons: a little bumpy
