Nice Layout, sylish Looks, power To Spare. — Hard to find parts. Overview a must drive for non z owners a turn of the key and smell of burned fuel, and a clutch drop as this machine winds through first gear,as you are pushed in deep in the seat, and second is a throw away, and you ask yourself this is a import? Note: I smash on mustangs and tuners w this base model car, turbo is yet unexplored territory.................. Zcon next year.......... Fingers crossed. :-D Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Lots of power, decent looks, plenty of cargo space, cofortable front seats,pw,pdl,t tops, quiet interior, power heated mirrors, lumbar controls, great sound system, good stopping power, alloy, wheels steering is good, interior styling is good controls well placed. Cons: Lots of plastic, fragile hard to find plastic, digital insturments which require a power supply that poops out @163,000 miles and requires this hard to find part, too many relays solid state electronics, inappropriate component placement that requires dash removal and for two components heater removal, things that are expensive are made cheAP and cheap stuff is expensisve or labor intensive. |

Amazing — she is a very reliable daily driver, but she is fun when you want it, she can take turns very sharp and smooth. and she has the potential for lots of power without spending tons of money. the fuel mileage could be better, i average 18-20, but its a 25 year old car so what do you expect haha. its built very well and a over great car Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: style, power, affordable Cons: too ,much power, easy to get tickets |

This Car Is A Blast. — Performance is awesome for a car being almost as old as I am. I like that they under built this car leaving me all kinds of opportunity to mod. I have changed the digital dash coloring. It look's really good, I've started to acquire a taste for the body style but plan on putting a front fascia on to flatten it out more like a 87-89 front end. Picked this up for $1,200.Gas mileage is amazing for a turbo v-6. This car is a blast and handle's almost as good as my WRX did. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: it's paid for and ready to mod Cons: It's hard to find parts. |

I love my Z. Unfortunately it sat for some years, til I had $ finally to put her on the rack. Fuel injectors leaked massive amounts of fuel into the cylinders, so were replacing them and fuel regulator. Also essentials like PCV valve, tune up, oil change, fuel filter, vacuum switch and lines, amongst other things. Still have a non working dash, no spedo or tach. I know its the speed cable is leaking into the dash and needs a new pinion seal. Cant wait to drive my old girl! vs1988 Ford Thunderbird
