In Good Condition I Would Be Prepared To Spend Up On One And Turn It Into A Full On Tuner — i bought it to learn to drive in for $400.00 back about 5 years ago. everything needed fixing on it but the last owner thrashed it beyond belief. after putting it on the road i leaned how awesome mazda where at making cars. the acceleration was crisp and you could always count on it starting. it was ok on fuel but as soon as you took it on the highway it was amazing. mine needed work (the carby butterfly shafts where leaking and cylender #3's oil scraper ring was gummed up, letting oil pass through the combustion chamber) and it managed to get 6.8L/100km and the motor had over 200k on it the breaks wold of been so much better with 4 wheel disks but for what they where it all worked well. the steering was amazingly direct even with normal tires. my car had paint work that could of benifited from a few rattle cans but ive seen a few in great condition and they are great on the eye. the engine has a great note with a bit of exhaust work and even the interior was pleasing on the eye. aside from the colour choices (brown, plum and blue) if black was an option that would of been 100% better all in all if i could of found one in great condition i would of bought it. and kept it for ever.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the engine is spirited and gives good acceleration and is almost impossible to kill (i didnt go easy on her)

Cons: poor quality on internal door handles, seat mountings, certain areas are prone to rust

Great Value For The Money — This was a great car, we bought it used in 1988 and took lots of road trips in it, appreciating the sunroof and air-conditioning

Pros: Sunroof and A/C!

Cons: 5 spd

Shes One Hot Dang 323 — haha this is my 1983 Mazda 323 ss edition. its in emaculate condition, im its second owner and only had 126000 kms at the start of 2007, as it stands atm it now only has 150000 for a 25 year old car :) It came manufacture standed with Central Locking, Electric Sunroof, Duel Sports Carbys, standard tint & valour interiour. Since Purchasing it at the start of 2007 i i have done to it is install a sound system, put on some mags & get it a service and an air & fuel Filer. Then roadworthyed the guy informed me that the car is in perfect condition with not one thing wrong. had been well maintained. It is originally a Tasmanian car had had a few issues registering it in QLD (She vin & chassis numbers didnt exist in there system, but she fixed dat up for me)

Pros: small and easy to park, reliable, has never say die attitude

Cons: needs power steering in car parks, needs a little more power
