1989 Ltd Crown Victoria Review — The Crown Victoria I drove was actually a 1989 LTD. It had a 5.0 Litre V8 (same as the early 90's Mustangs). Despite the car's huge size and weight, it has excellent acceleration. In addition, the gas pedal was not too sensitive; therefore, this is a good car for learning how to drive. The build quality is excellent on this car. It could rip through Honda's like they were tin foil. Its as simple as that. This car is very cost effective. As with all cars, it is great on gas if you don't have a lead foot. In addition, parts are easily found. Even though I drove this car for only a few minutes, my hands had to be pryed from the steering wheel. If you like to go on road trips, this is the car to have. The reason is because the seats are very comfortable. Go buy yourself one:) Pros: One of the best sedans you could ever own! Cons: Nothing bad about this car. Only thing is if you are used to driving compact cars, it may be a challenge trying to park this monster in a cramped space. |

Extremely Comfortable And A Joy To Drive — I absolutely love the car... but she's old and bit tired, i wish it had the Windsor in it and a better exhaust... but all in all i love it and an extremely fun car to drive. really wish it was the police version with the 350 Windsor in it though. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: get some rearwheel drive power Cons: terrible gas mileage especially if you drive like me |

Reliable Crown Vic — Was one of the more reliable cars i have ever driven. Should have never sold it. Had big plans to deck it out with new wheels, a new CD player, tinted windows, and maybe even a new paintjob. Started better than any car should in the winter. Great quality car. Pros: Reliability Cons: Drove like a boat |

My Dads Old Car — My grandmother gave this car to my father, and it was love at first sight. The car was slow but it was a V8 and RWD so powerslides were fun. The cost to own the car was mainly gas money and a new alternator. I never drove it but it was a blast to ride in. It had a smooth ride and a cushy interior. The heater worked miracles in the winter but the A/C was well non-existant!! Fun Car Pros: Bench Seat in front, 5.0L V8 sound, RWD, Ford, Beutiful red interior Cons: Gas, Slow |

Best Road Car In The 80's — It was Grandpa's car that was handed down to me when he passed away. By the time we sold it the Crown Vic had 215,000 miles. It was still running at the time and all it needed was a new water pump. To this day the Crown Vic is the best car for the money. When looking for a great highway cruising car. Pros: Big, powerful, Chrome bumpers, dependability Cons: Towards the end of ownership mileage dropped to about 8-10mpg |

Good Smooth Riding Car — Owned this, learned to drive on it (yeah, it was hard parking a 20 foot car in a 24 foot space for the driving test). Mine was cream colored. Never had many problems with it until the engine finally went out on it. Pros: Wonderful for highway driving Cons: Gas Guzzler but back in mid 90s gas was still around $1 a gallon |
