Modified - 1981 Camaro Z28 350 Pro Street. — I picked up this modified 1981 Z28 from a friend as part of a trade on my 1985 Grand National. It was a completely rebuilt-with mods - engine, gears and a gorgeous reflective 2 shade paint - copper/burgundy. I had a couple of tours with it, but of course, as is the case with many - I was working long hours and never got to take it out. It sat for a whole summer in my driveway and deserved better attn. I sold this to another friend in the fall and still regret that - it was one of the best modified 1981 Z28's out there. The prior owner had put ALOT of money into it. The current owner is local and enjoys this car in the summer. Bummer for me - good for him.

Pros: Awesome torque, sound, and appearance.

Cons: Just my work schedule that year - didnt have time to drive.

1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 — Pretty much a tank of a car that was limited due to government regulations. Loved this car. Perfect for a 16 year old kid to own and learn to drive clutch on. Put a little money into the car to get it inspected and on the road....but nothing to be too concerned about. Wish I could have kept this car longer, but mother nature was determined to do otherwise.

Pros: Original Look, fun to drive

Cons: Nothing fancy or fast about this car

My Car > Your Car — It's an old school muscle car, what's not to love? Original paint, original cosmetics; new alternator and fuel intake manifold. Terrible on gas, but made up for by its looks and roaring V8 305 block engine. T-tops are the best thing about it. Perfect cruising car, guaranteed to attract attention.

    Pros: everything

Cons: people hate you cause they're jealous

Beauty And The Beast All In One Package — My car is better than yours in every way imaginable not to brag or anything. Its fast, good looking, sounds nice, and its a collectable! Sure it dosnt get you as far on a gallon of gas but it gets you there faster and in better style. I cant say enough about how many heads turn to look at my car, and how many couldnt keep up to bask in its amazing beauty.

    Pros: Its Powerful and beautiful

Cons: Poor gas mileage and it makes everyone jealous

And guess what its NEVER going to be on sail... HAHA

The Last Of A Generation :'( — It is the last of the second generation camaro the color is canary yellow one of only 1600 in that color. It is a little V6 but i like it not great acceleration because of the metal body and V6 but it works well enough.

Pros: a classic and beautiful car

    Cons: V6= weak

The Last Of Year For The Great Camaros — 1981 was the last year for the second generation of the Camaro, and the last year that the Camaro would look decent for about 15 years. The 1981 Camaro Z28 came with a 350 with 175 bhp, but don't let that fool you, as any should know a 350 was only regarded as a mouse motor in GM racing history but are well known for their racing quality and ease to reach high performance.

Pros: Lots of power to play with, fun car to drive.

Cons: Not the most aerodynamic, and the back end loves to slip when taking turns sharp.
