There Is No Substitute — I have owned this car since 1990. I drove it as my daily driver for nearly 10 years before retiring it to a hobby car. Since taking off the front line for driving me places it has gone through a bit of transformation that included twin turbo's, Big red brakes, EFI conversion and a full engine overhaul. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Timeless looks, raw performance, and addicting to drive. Cons: Can be expensive to maintain unless you are a DIY'r |

Excellent German Reliability, Epic Car — dad bought it in febuary of 78, drove it right off the showroom floor, owned it ever since Pros: fun car to toss around, 100mph feels like 65, comfy, calm when not being pushed Cons: if the clutch is not manipulated the right way, the car will stall, it thinks you're a racecar driver and if u do anything less then perfect it slaps you in the face |
