What? — Its the most amacing car Ive ever had and built. Ranked as one out of the 10 coolest volvos In sweden!! Its pure joy ti drive it and let It stretch out on the racetrack. This winter there will be some changes so I can keep fighting on top in all carshows.

Pros: Nice handling and great speed

Cons: There is nothing negative about this car

244dl 1975, Usa-model, B20f/bw35 — Robust, solid, quality build. Never welded when i got it 2002, and had to weld only a few spots. Engine and tranny never rebuilt and still works very well after 30 years... very little oil leakage and consumption.

Pros: Cheap spare parts, Easy to repair, RWD, Good handling, Very warm winter car, starts in -25 deg c.

Cons: B20F needs more power, 3-speed BW35 and 4,1 final drive means 3500rpm@100km/h, which is noisy and consumes too much fuel. Modifications described above will fix this, though.

Wouldn't Sell It For The World. By Sam

The secret is what's under the bonnet... It's what you would call a "sleeper". This 240 is definitely a keeper, it's resale value is crap but it's sentimental value is through the roof. A dream car wh... Read More
