Totally Impractical But A Blast To Drive. — It takes significant upper body strength to manipulate the manual steering with 33" tires. The short wheel base makes it extremely bouncy and a bit twitchy at speeds over 60 mph. The dual exhaust is loud and obnoxious. The 4 barrel carburetur is complete overkill on the 304 v8 engine. I LOVE THIS THING!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Starts right up every time, Bouncy but fun.  I love going to the auto part store on weekends in it.

Cons: It's a 36 year old jeep!  What do you expect?

It's Paid For! — FUN, FUN, FUN. They don't build them like this anymore. Simple enough for me to work on and tough enough to outperform many of todays Jeep wannabe's! This vehicle will be part of the family for a long time to come.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: It's a Legend.  It's a Jeep!

Cons: If your scared of mud, rocks, snow, you don't need a Jeep like this.

... — the funiest thing to drive! 232 AMC, T18, D44 limited rear, D44 Front, disc brakes, hidraulic steering, brakes and clutch, YJ leafsprings, SOA, reverse schakles, still it needs a lot of work, a major paintjob required and I want a new carb!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: gearbox, axles and verywell build, I love it!

    Cons: lack of power
