1973 AMC JavelinReview
Hotrod — Bought the car with a partner to get it running and move it on to another owner to do the things I am not that familiar with. Ended up replacing the flywheel and harmonic balancer to get the engine somewhat smooth. Then had the T10 transmission worked on to repair some noise and ended up with full rebuild investing over $1,600 in that. Then the rear end was winding out to soon so had the gears changed. Now working the interior then will move on to the dash and gauges.
Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
Pros: Sounds good, rebuilt transmission, brakes are done. Rear end rebuilt.
Cons: Need dash and electronics finished.
