1968 AMC Javelin Review
Loads Of Fun And Looked Great Too! — One of the lightest pony cars made for fast acceleration with the very modern for its time, thin wall die cast aluminum block V-8. The steeply raked windshield, one of the largest on any passenger car, afforded great forward visibility.
Pros: Beautiful styling, huge chrome bumpers, excellent motor. Reclining bucket seats was a big comfort plus. Very easy to maintain and repair. Good sized trunk for a pony car.
Cons: Very light rear end made for unpredictable handling at high speeds. Very large 'C'-piller made for poor rear visibilty. Interior finish was cheap plastic and suffered from loose parts.
