Hope To Pass On To My Children Someday When Restored... — car was my grandparents bought "new" in 72 been in my family ever since 77 thousand original miles. my mom had it for years and parked in the garage for me..has original 326 motor 2 speed power glide transmission and floor shifter, bucket seats and factory air rare for a 66 lemans..

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: looks like the g.t.o. car is a classic, most lemans were "cloned" into g.t.o.'s

Cons: nothing rare and old classic

B-e-a-utiful 1966 Lemans — Its a 1966 Pontiac Lemans. It has the stock 326 and 2 speed transmission. The car is unrestored and is in beautiful condition except for a dented bumper. I would love to put in a 455 with a turbo 400 trans. It gets okay gas mileage. It would be better with a proper tune up. All in all this car looks and drives great, just needs some minor TLC. In simpler words-The car of my dreams.

Pros: looks great with a smooth straight body and immaculate interior. my favorite body style for old pontiacs.

Cons: the engine needs a tuneup, or better yet a rebuild. The engine is sluggish and weak. The 2 speed doesn't help either.
