1965 Mustang Gt — This is actually a 1965 Mustang GT, the GT trim was not available on CarIQs dropdown list. The 1965 Mustang is probably one of the most iconic American cars in history. The GT trim was quite rare, and added multiple performance options: 4-barrel carburetor, front disc brakes, font sway bar, stripes and badges, dual exhaust with trumpets (and probably something else I forgot). The car was around $2,400 MSRP in 1965 with the GT package. I am the second owner of this car, purchased from the original owner in 2005 for $2,000 cash (less than MSRP in 1965)! I will own this car until I die.

Pros: Classic American style, small block V8,

    Cons: None

Mustang — It's a 1965 Mustang 289. What isn't there to like.. But I'm tired of people thinking that it can get up with Chevelles and Camaros just cuz it sounds badass. A 65 will never get close. When the Mustang was introduced in 1964, it was intended to be a 2nd family car for wifes and teenagers as a run-about. As the 60s rolled on, Ford needed to keep up with the muscle cars. The late 60s/ early 70s were Mustang's glory years with the Mach 1s and 428s that ruled the streets. Today, Ford has revived the Mustang with the new model, and with the power package Shelby Cobras and GTs. Let the Mustang legacy roll on!

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: gas..

1965 Ford Mustang Is An Awesome Automobile — This car is over 40 years old so there are some issues from time to time, but hey its a 1965 Ford Mustang and its way cool. So what if it has no a/c and no insolation in the fire wall and GA summers get over 100 degrees. So what if it handles like you are turning the wheel in slow motion. So what about all the issues related driving a 40+ year old car. I own a 1965 Ford Mustang and its worth every bit of it!

Pros: did I mention it is a 1965 Ford Mustang

Cons: some things about a 40+ year old car are difficult to deal with

A True Pony Car — It doesnt have power steering which takes some getting used to, the high performance 289 is an amazing engine. I do all the work myself so the cost isnt that high. It is an amazing car to drive.

Pros: great engine and build quality

    Cons: no power steering

It Doesn't Do Anything Well, But It Sure Is Cool! — It doesn't stop, it doesn't go fast, and it corners like a school bus, but hey, it's a '65 'Stang!

Pros: It looks really nice and it's not very common anymore.

Cons: Everything that 43 year old technology won't let it do!

I Dont Know — Amazing car. I put in a better sound system, but left the original radio in it. The new deck is in the glovebox. It has two 10"subs in it that are in the trunk. Runs somewhat rough but thats expected from a car that is 43 years old. Still has nice paint.

Pros: The look. The era its from. The sound system.

Cons: Runs rough. No power steering.
