1963 Ford Country SquireReview
One Of The Cars I Wish I Still Had! (along With A 59 Impala Coupe) — I liked the ride, styling, color, reliability, and utility of the car (although I didn't use it as a hauler). The only thing I didn't like was the gas mileage because in 1974, it became a factor that I and most people couldn't overlook. If I had it now, it would be worth 100 times what I paid for it in the early '70's.
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros: I owned a Black 63 CountrySquire with a red interior and 352 V8 in 1972. I loved that car; great in the snow - it served as a snow plow because the springs sagged a bit. A comfortable, reliable, good-looking car. Wish I still had it! Alas, '74 was the year gas prices went through the roof and I sold it and bought a Datsun which would be worth much less now than the Squire. I hope it's still on the road.
Cons: Gas mileage, but average for cars of that size back then.
