Great Classic Car. — Great car, my to be wife loved it. Had 130000 miles on it when I bought it. Drove it for three years. Brought our first child home in it, top seal was bad so my wife had to protect the baby from snow coming through the top/windshield joint. Wish I had it today.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Convertable

Cons: oil burner.

1938 Buick Century Review
Cabotom says:
Absolutely one of the coolest looking cars around. A real highway cruiser that holds the road with ease due to its two-ton weight. Like all pre-war cars, the Century is built like a tank with steel so thick it will stop a bullet. Has considerable torque with its straight-eight 320 ci. engine, but without power steering a monster to park. This car attracts a lot of attention wherever I go.

Cargo Capacity Ranked 1974 BMW 3.0CSi better.
"The BMW CS has a large flat trunk, whereas the Buick Century convertible has a small trunk due to the presence of a rumble seat in the rear."
Would Buy Ranked 1974 BMW 3.0CSi worse.
"The 1938 Buick Century Convertible was the fastest American production car from 1938-41. The styling changed in 1939 (especially the front-end) and therefore, the 38 is considered the top Buick collectible. This car (especially the convertible) is very rare, and will never lose value nor its status as one of the best-looking American cars ever built."
