I have sold my personal vehicles using cargurus for the past 3 cars but this was the first time i sold one directly to cargurus. At first i was skeptical. I kept googling it to see if it was legit because all my other instant offers were lower. Once i confirm it was legit, I went forward with it. After I submitted my self inspection, they lower my price because they said I needed new tires. I didn't think I did so I started getting nervous again about the legitacy. Then a guy came out to do a mechanical inspection. He said I didn't need new tires and he included that in his report. A few days later they emailed me and raised my price back up to its original. I was very excited! A few days later, someone came and picked up the car. We signed all the all papers and had my money in bank the next day (because i chose direct deposit, I think I would've gotten a check from the guy picking it up if I had chose that). All in all, it was a great experience. I got more than ebay anyone else was offering and only slightly less than what i could have gotten for a personal sale. Considering the lack of hassle, it was very worth it!! It well be my first option to sell a car every time from now on.
