I was very pleased with my interactions with CarGurus. The sudden death of my husband left me with a vehicle I did not need and was too big for me to feel comfortable driving. Being a widow I was naturally leery of selling it via public advertising, not only because of the value of the vehicle, but concern for my safety and actually getting the money. CarGurus walked me through every step, stayed in constant contact, picked up the vehicle as promised and I had the funds 24 hours later.

I had one offer better than CarGurus (+$500), but stuck with CarGurus because of their excellent communication during the process of submitting documentation. The documentation submission process went extremely smooth and so did setting up an appointment time. I figured there would be something that would go wrong with the transaction process, I was expecting haggling. However the whole handing over the keys and final documentation took all of 3minutes and I was able to deposit my check shortly after that. I'm still amazed by how simple this process was.

The process for selling a car through car gurus was very simple and easy. They came out to the house to pick up the car and the check was sent to me ahead of the pick up. They also gave the best price that I shopped around
