What is all the hype about the 2010 M5 SMG?
Did they get all the bugs out of the M5 SMG Transmission? If i buy a 2010 BMW M5 with 65k- 85k miles and i dont drive this car hard would I be okay and not have SMG issues?

The BMW M5's big, beefy V10 engine bites the dust for 2010, replaced by a (slightly) more fuel-efficient turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. Similar changes are occurring up and down BMW's prodigious lineup, as the automaker makes essential shifts in an effort to create more fuel-efficient engines that continue to deliver dynamic performance. The 2010 BMW M5 also receives a few exterior updates, as well as new standard features. HD Radio, for instance, comes standard for 2010.
Based on the BMW 5 Series sedans, the performance-oriented, rear-wheel-drive M5 comes equipped with a number of high-tech and F1-racer features, such as an all-season traction control system with an M Variable Differential Lock, which transmits drive power to individual wheels, depending on road conditions, to ensure optimal traction. The M5's vehicle-speed-sensitive power steering links to the M Driving Dynamics Control system, which enables drivers to switch to sport-oriented steering by pushing the M Drive button located on the steering wheel. The system also controls the M5's sport-tuned suspension, which has four driver-selectable ride modes, from Performance to Comfort. The M5 rides on 19-inch light-case alloy wheels with performance tires.
The M5's xenon adaptive headlights have an auto-leveling feature and illuminating rings around all four headlights. An M front spoiler, wraparound body-color bumpers with energy absorbers, and twin dual chrome-plated tailpipes give the M5 a sporty exterior appearance, while heated side-view mirrors with auto dimming, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a headlight washing system add style points as well as functionality.
Inside, performance features give way to luxury appointments. Merino leather upholstery comes standard, while the M Sport heated front seats feature 18-way power adjustment, side bolsters, four-way lumbar support, two-way thigh support, and a two-setting memory system. A two-way power glass moonroof, M multi-function leather-wrapped sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, on-board computer, keyless remote entry, Bluetooth wireless technology, and navigation system with an 8.8-inch screen and real-time traffic information also come standard.
In addition, the M5 comes equipped with BMW's updated iDrive system, which includes a turn-and-push vehicle control dial located on the center console. With a few turns and pushes of the dial, drivers can manage the M5's climate control, audio, navigation, and communications systems. A 13-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player and MP3 capabilities also comes standard. Safety features include front-door-mounted side-impact airbags and advanced front airbags.
