Suzuki SX4 Options
The 2007 sx4 hatchback. Did that ever come with a 5 spd transmission and FWD.? Am asking as a dealership has one listed as just that and I'm thinking no, it has to be 6 spd. and AWD; Thanks in Advance. Joe

The Suzuki SX4 begins its run as the lowest priced AWD vehicle in the U.S. In case you were wondering, the SX stands for sport crossover and the 4 refers to ability to handle the road in any season. This compact model offers a unique 3-mode system called intelligent AWD (i-AWD): 2WD operates in regular conditions, while AWD Auto and Lock distribute power among all four wheels, depending on speed and circumstances.
The SX4 comes in three trims: Base, Convenience, and Sport. All three use a 2.0-liter, 143-hp inline four-cylinder (I4) engine with a standard five-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic. In addition, expect this four-door, five-seat model to get you around 24 mpg in the city, 29 on the highway. All three trims have standard ABS brakes. However, the Sport also offers standard traction control and stability control. Passenger volume comes out to 98.5 cubic feet, while trunk space comes out to 8.2 cubic feet.
The ad for the new SX4 tells us, "It's Gonna Be A Great Ride." Fortunately for the PR department, the experts appear to agree. They like the comfort, solid handling, and i-AWD. On the other hand, drivers would appreciate better acceleration. In any event, the Suzuki SX4 compact crossover has literally stepped into a class by itself and may face stiff competition in the near future.

So I own this car for 3 years, I never had problems with this car. The service is cheap.
Very easy drive, then it is very comfortable for 4 person. The all wheel drive is excelent.
Heated seats I liked it so much.

I love my car. Its great! It was easy to learn how to drive a stick car and it handles like a dream. The AWD adds a nice little thrill factor, you can get on it a little without fearing for your life like in my old car. Its very affordable to own, maybe 35$ to fill the tank and I have been getting about 33 miles to the gallon. Its slightly modified, but it has only enhanced the cars charm.Jun 02, 2011

Performance- Sprightly but not fast. Lots of squeaks and rattles after two years, but good quality overall. Looks good, sporty appearance. Practical. Slightly appliance-like in character, but reliable. Good gas mileage. Some fun in snow, but overall a fairly boring car to drive. Sep 01, 2009

Bit hungry on gas, but it has decent power and kicks butt in the snow. Doesn't feel like a cheap car. I've had no service issues whatsoever and it can take a beating. Would definitely consider buying another. Awesome. No complaintsJul 10, 2009

I've had my SX4 for 2 years and haven't
had a single problem. I've got some
squeaks in the dash area that bug me a
little but for the price that's almost
expected. Overall this car performs well
(especially in the snow!) and delivers
decent MPG (around 25 city). I've hauled
all kinds of things and it has room for
my family. It's even fun to drive with

My first car was a Suzuki Sx4. I love this car's look; it has a european structure to it. The brakes are amazing and they save me a couple of time and handling is superb. The only problem is the performance. Accleration takes a while and it tends to get annoying when hopping on the highway or trying some overtaking manuevers. Of course, im going to eliminate this with some performance parts so the car would have more horsepower to carry itself better and perform better. Gas Mileage is awesome! i got a full week on a tank of gas and its only max.. $ 35 or less to fill the tank!! As being a jap car maintenance is a dream and overalll this car is a fun drive for me.Aug 30, 2008

I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an affordable but sporty car that also has awd. Its easy on gas, maintenance fees are low, and insurance is descent. I can take 35 mph corners at 65 and not feel out of control at all. My only problem is that theres to many mods I want to get for it. Its a keeper.Aug 04, 2008
