2007 Pontiac Solstice Reviews, Pricing & Specs

The car is a real head turner. Nine times out of ten when I take the car out I get a thumbs up or a complement on the looks of the car. The car has decent acceleration for it's engine size. It handles great and the braking is good. I feel safe in this car and in control. It's fun to drive.

This was very fun to drive. It's pretty fast and very sporty, but there are some things that would prevent me from buying one. It would be a pretty good car for driving to work and back every day, but not much more than that due to lack of storage space.

On a Saturday night on our way home, we were at a dead stop at a stop light. We were rear ended by a drunk driver going 60+ MPH. My wife and I received bumps and bruises, that's it. I concider this car to be a very safe car for the size and type of car. We enjoyed the ride and handling like no other car we have driven.

What a great value. Handles like a true sports car and yet you don’t have to spend the $’s. All the car I need for the open American road. Solidly built and inexpensive to repair.

I love the style of the car. The handling is great like riding on rails. A little noisy at speed but who cares it is a sports car. Engine power in the 2.4 is good enough to get you going. The quality of the car is still great and wear is not noticeable I have the car 7 years and 26000 miles.

Its not perfect but for the price I challenge you to find a car that will give you more enjoyment

This car is a great example of what drop-top cars should be . It looks fantastic and it is a very sound vehicle . The only throw back to it is the gas mileage .

steering is very nice, acceleration has a nice seat in pant feeling. drove with a air intake, engine tune, and magnaflow exhaust...of course the sound is louder but the turbo is also louder, nice sound, makes it fun to drive.

This is not my first Solstice. Pontiac put together a great lil Roadster. The 2007 GXP I found through carguru was as described. Great condition and well priced.

Its a fun sports car. The gas milage is ok. Comfortable seats and the price on them is decent. I reasonable mid life crises vehicle. They do turn heads. The motor does have some snap to it. Test drive one and see for yourself.

Love the styling and performance. One of the best looking drop-tops since it hides beautifully into the back. Acceleration is amazing for a small engine. Turbo definitely makes it a sports car, but still gets great MPG. I average 27 for daily driving and I like to feel and use the power.

The car I bought is a highly-optioned 2006 model with very low miles. I bought the car to use as a weekend or nice weather cruising car. Admittedly, it has little storage or luggage space, but I don’t care. It’s what I needed.

Quick and responsive, when you turn your car on, does it return the favor? Mine does. Ample torque, the rear wheels break away easily when desired, but can hold a corner tight when needed. Braking is adequate, the low weight helps out quite a bit.

I drove one at the dealership (pre delivery inspection). It was a turbocharged GXP. It was a peppy little bugger that i'm sure would beat my gp. I wouldn't want to own one myself because i feel they are more of a "girly" car, but the performance was impressive.

When I first heard Pontiac was coming out with the Solstice, I was psyched. I was thinking "V6 with at least 230 horses under the hood, more bells and whistles than an Oscar Meyer weiner truck...ect". However, I was mistaken. After my best friend bought one, and though I cannot defy his choice as it was his dream, I was slightly un-impressed with the car. Though the car has very beautiful engineering on the outside, it's 2.4L 4 cylinder engine does not stand up to par with modern day sports car standards. Even for this light 2 seater, the acceleraction and the top speed are WAY too low. Not a car I can reccomend to the avid driver.

The Pontiac Solstice is one of the most beautiful domestic sports cars ever. I dont own one, wish I did, but have only heard good things about the Solstice.

this is my dream car. gets looks and turns heads everywhere i go. a little under powered wit the base 2.0 ecotec t4 wit 173 horsepower. enough to get it around but i wish i had more. other then that i love everything about it.

The Mrs. limited my allowed options to A/C. Black on black on black. Fun driving. Wouldn't want to pay 5 large for the GPX - wouldn't get the use out of it. Just wish I had been allowed a little more funding...for power mirrors, etc.
