The Range Rover Sport is now in its second year of production. The Sport is Land Rover's first attempt at a performance-oriented SUV. For the 2007 model year, Bluetooth has been added as a standard feature.
There are two trim variations available for the Range Rover Sport: HSE and the more upscale Supercharged. The HSE includes leather seats, 19 inch wheels, dual climate control, a premium Harmon-Kardon audio system with 14 speakers and an in-dash CD changer, and a navigation system. The Supercharged adds 20-inch wheels and Land Rover's Dynamic Response suspension system. A DVD entertainment system is optional in the HSE and standard in the Supercharged Sport.
The two trims are primarily differentiated from one another by their power supply. The HSE is powered by a 4.4 liter V-8, generating 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The Supercharged Range Rover Sport uses a slightly smaller 4.2 liter V-8, fitted with a potent supercharger. Horsepower jumps to 390 and torque is now 410 pound-feet. Both engines are teamed with a six speed adaptable automatic transmission, which readjusts itself based on road conditions and driver behavior. Drivers can expect mixed driving gas mileage in the high teens for both models.

I like the commanding stance and look, the instant power of the supercharged V-8. The overall comfort and design of the inside. Plus the rear entertainment is a big plus with the children and the sound system is excellent. I won't lament about the fuel economy because I knew what it was when I purchased it.Dec 29, 2013

The every day driving experience has always been good. This vehicle has been driven 60% in town, and 40% of the total mileage has been highway miles. It is a vantage point of the vehicle allows for excellent visibility since you are able to see all around you as well as both forward and back.Feb 22, 2013

Its great off road, and on road too. The space and
quality inside, make you realize that you are in a
luxury car. As an SUV it rides and performs really
great. It is my favorite car, and it is so fun to drive.Feb 08, 2010

Well built, lots of toys, more refined than my X5,
handles well, bit gutless though... Awesome off
road!, SatNav's a pain in the ass. Overall I think it's a
better car than X5 which always seems ot have
niggling intermittent faults (unlike other BMs I've
owned in fairness). Had depreciated big time tho......Nov 30, 2008

when i first bought it i was like yes i am the man... and i felt that way then a cheap car hiring trend started all over the paki commnunity so anyone driving a range rover seemed as if they hired it..this car was a flexin car but over all performance..hm...lets just keep it to full of flex...Oct 21, 2008

Fantastic family car but takes a bit of cleaning on a Sunday afternoon. Getting 30 mpg at the moment though so can't complain about the fuel consumption. The environment? Not sure what you mean! Definately an eye catching motor with superb styling across the front. I had a CLK before this so its obviously a huge difference but don't regret it one bit.Oct 09, 2008

grip of money just for parts and don't get very good gas mileage on this at all. Was not impressed with the leg room in the rear but pretty good size trunk space. Lack of a 7 passenger seating capability like the Range Rover LR3 does not bode well with large family. Overall, the good far outweighs the bad here. A little pricey, but worth every penny. The off-road experience is worth the price of admission. Jul 08, 2008

I’ll just say this – something as tall and heavy as this car shouldn’t be able to go so fast!
I had almost wet myself within the first 1km just as a passenger!
It’ll have your eyes out on stalks with it’s acceleration, and any grown man will get aroused by the sensational burbling of that mighty supercharged V8.
The other thing it does is handle – like a go-cart! Again, how does 2.5 tonnes go so fast and handle so well??
It’s because Jaguar provide the supercharged 4.2 litre V8 from their sports cars, and the suspension is a complex and brilliant combination of air bags and hydraulic anti-roll bars.
You’ll pay for it though – it’s not cheap to buy and fuel will leave the fuel tank faster than you can put it in – but you’ll have a whole heap of fun doing it!
Easily the fastest and best-handling car I’ve ever driven.

This 4x4 definatly is a powerball on wheels, everything that you could dream of is packaged in this Range Rover. The endgines range from 2 litre all the way up to 3 litre turbo. A very expensive veichle with a very high insuarance group yet I did not own this car as much as I wished I did but I took one for a test drive and definatly thought I would add this baby to my listJan 22, 2008

Handling is great, Suspension, speed and also pick but why spend 14,000,000 Kes on a truck when you can spend 6,000,000 Kes on an Hummer H3 or a Toyota VX. Futhermore the petrol engine which is 5.0 litres throws your pocket into bankrupsy not to mention the initial cost of the car. All in all its a beautiful truck with all the modern features and toys you would expect. Test drive it soon you sure as hell will love how she drives. Jan 16, 2008

2007 range rover won’t start When I turn the key forward everything lights up as it should but when I turn the key all the way over to start it I’m getting absolutely nothing. Is there some security feature that is causing this or is it something different?
in my 2007 range rover sport supercharged the temp needle went all the way up when I had the heater on.. blowing cold air btw. then I turned the heat off and temp went back to normal
Have 07 Irish range rover sport. Got my compressor changed 2 days ago! Worked fine, then all of sudden the front wont rise to normal height! Error says "suspension will rise when system cooled" . Is this a faulty sign as system had over night to cool. Hardly compressor broke already?
Hi, I drive an 07 RR-Sport HSE with A.C.E. system. Since I had it, I clearly hear a high pitch noise once the engine accelerates. Took it to dealership(s) multiple times and their answer was "it is normal". I don't think it is normal for such a vehicle to have such noise knowing it's an 8 Cylinder SUV with plenty of horse power, but sounds like a broken water or steering pump. There seems to be a small number of people experiencing this noise. I have seen other HSE (same yr and model) with an A.C.E. system, but without such noise. I find it odd to consider this noise normal. Could it be a pulley tensioner, or a bad bearing, or pump about to go bad and dealership wouldn't touch it until it breaks? I have seen posts/forums talking about refurbishing the A.C.E. pump to resolve the issue (U.K. based posts). and Here in the U.S. no one have yet resolved this issue.
