About 2007 Land Rover Range Rover Sport
The Range Rover Sport is now in its second year of production. The Sport is Land Rover's first attempt at a performance-oriented SUV. For the 2007 model year, Bluetooth has been added as a standard feature. There are two trim variations available for the Range Rover Sport: HSE and the more upscale Supercharged. The HSE includes leather seats, 19 inch wheels, dual climate control, a premium Harmon-Kardon audio system with 14 speakers and an in-dash CD changer, and a navigation system. The Supercharged adds 20-inch wheels and Land Rover's Dynamic Response suspension system. A DVD entertainment system is optional in the HSE and standard in the Supercharged Sport. The two trims are primarily differentiated from one another by their power supply. The HSE is powered by a 4.4 liter V-8, generating 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The Supercharged Range Rover Sport uses a slightly smaller 4.2 liter V-8, fitted with a potent supercharger. Horsepower jumps to 390 and torque is now 410 pound-feet. Both engines are teamed with a six speed adaptable automatic transmission, which readjusts itself based on road conditions and driver behavior. Drivers can expect mixed driving gas mileage in the high teens for both models.
