The 2007 Hyundai Tucson comes with two available engine options: a 2.0-liter I4 with 140hp or a 2.7-liter V6 with 173hp. The former gets 22/28 miles per gallon, and the latter gets 19/24. This small SUV also comes with two transmission options, a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual. Plenty of power for a little SUV that can easily carry around your family or belongings.
Comforts for the 2007 Hyundai Tucson are pretty standard, if somewhat basic. Air conditioning, steering mounted controls and a CD player all come standard. You can also get cruise control, tire pressure monitors, a CD changer, a sunroof and heated seats, depending on the trim you choose. For safety, the 2007 Hyundai Tucson has power door locks, ABS, electronic brake assistance, tractions control and airbags, including curtain. Hyundai has entered the small SUV market in fine fashion with the 2007 Hyundai Tucson.
Owners of the 2007 Hyundai Tucson were rather fond of the small SUV. Most of them especially liked the gas mileage it gets, in particular the I4. They also like the spaciousness, the look, and of course, the Hyundai warranty. Some people were not fond of the placement of the ashtray, or the size of the armrests. But those are tiny problems with a highly reliable vehicle, which is exactly what the 2007 Hyundai Tucson is.

The Tuscan is the best car I have ever purchased. We purchased in 2009 and had 8000 miles on the clock. It now has 118000 and still going strong. I have reservations with parting with it as I am told that it will still be going with 200,000 on clock. I have had Fords, BMWs and Bentley but they have long gone and my Tuscan is the work horse. Nice amenities inside and out - good cargo room for a small SUV, especially with rear seats folded down. Pretty good power from V6 engine. Nice amenities in Limited like heated leather seats, etc. Nice styling and great price for value. Owned car for almost 7 years and no mx problems!Sep 07, 2013

Overall - liked it - good family transport, rides nice and at 5 years old - zero mx problems. Rear seats fold down for lots of cargo room. Stylish color with features like leather seats, heated windshield wipers, heated seats, etc. Good choice.Sep 07, 2013

We've had the car for 1 month now.
At this point in time we love it! I call it "Silver Blue Moon"
(Because it is silver and we purchased it on January 1, 2010,
The Blue Moon). It has a sporty look and it is fun to drive.
The Engine is clean and looks appealing.
The car has pep and power, it has the extra room we needed.
We love the heated leather seats. We love the sunroof, the
privacy glass windows and the great gas milage, approx.

My first cross over and I like it. It drives and handles well. I have the 2.7 engine, 6cyl and I recomment the 3.3 engine, 6 cyl. More power. The family is jealous because we have the nicest SUV and they wish they can have one to.Sep 22, 2009

I enjoy the fact that I am higher up than a car. There is so much more room in this vehicle to load stuff in. It makes for a great family vehicle and yet it still looks sporty enough not to remind you of a minivan. One thing I miss having from my last vehicle is a moon roof.Sep 01, 2008

The steering felt awkward at first, almost too soft. The ride hight was nice, and you feel you have more influence on the road compared to driving smaller cars like Polo's. Nice and spacious inside, but the interior finishes could have been better.Jan 10, 2008

2007 Tucson: How do I re-attach battery cable
I removed the positive cable from the battery to clean it. Had to remove a 10 mm nut, then use a puller to remove the outer cap and then pried up on the inner cap that had a small bolt sticking out of it. Never seen this kind of connection before...bizarre. Cleaned the corrosion and tried to put everything back together but could not get top cap to push down far enough over inner cap. Tried using a socket and hammer to persuade the damn thing but no luck. Anybody have better luck?
