thought it was the battery so I replaced it. After replacement, found the radio was turning itself on with the car being off and the alarm armed. This was what was draining the battery. Pulled the fuse and everything is good again except I have no radio.

2004 Ford Escape. When the weather is warmer a whining noise starts. The noise is consistent and does not change with speed or braking. The noise will sound even when just turning the key to accessory mode. Started in fall, was quiet during the winter and now with warmer weather it is starting again. Any ideas?
what has to be changed to make a 4wd transmission fit in a 2wd ford escape on a 2005. It looks like there is an adaptor that runs the rear drive shaft that just bolts on the transmission case. Is there more internally that needs to be changed?
