Reduced engine power o3 escalade esv
Did alot of repairs and spent alot of money on parts tryi g to figure out the reduced engine power warning light.anybody have any ideas on how to fix this

In short, it's a beast. It wades through high water like a champ, swallows cargo almost indefinitely, and the six liter V8 is potent enough to hustle it past dawdlers on the freeway or chaufeur horses around town, all while keeping its passengers in the lap of luxury. It is however, very thirsty. The driver's seat is fully adjustable as are the pedals and steering wheel. Some of the interior components are made of cheap plastic rather than the brushed aluminum or wood inserts that grace the interiors of many European SUVs, but the exterior picks up the slack with its bold, squared-off styling and crisp character lines. 2nd fastest SUV next to the porsche cayenne. Has aweosme pick-up. Super comfortable, roomy, heated seats, dvd player, navigation, 3rd row seating with a full trunk. Perfect for a family, and you dont need a dorky mini van! This is so fun to drive and you are alays in style! Best off its fully loaded you can't ask for anymore!Jul 08, 2009

Just took a cross country drive in this vehicle and it handles great. Smooth ride. Only drawback is the gas mileage, which is no surprise for a full sized SUV.Feb 24, 2008

2003 Cadillac Escalade new Alternator not charging
Recently noticed some voltage dips with the car (cutting out/Dying). I did the normal tests. Checked the battery voltage when car was off 12.2VDC, then when running 11.6Vdc. Pulled the negative pole from the battery and car died. I ran down and bought a new alternator and slapped that baby in and bada boom badda bing! Nothing! Same situation as above. I pulled the lead off the back of the alternator to measure voltage directly off the post and go 0VDC. Nothing at all. Need help at this point. There is another set of (what looks to be) control wires going into the alteranator. Im not sure if the alternator is dumb or does it get info from a charge controller. If so, where are the fuses or controller? Never! Never get a Escalade!
