98 Mazda millenia timing belt
I was driving gown the road and lost power. Apparently the timing belt broke. I was told that my engine would need to be replaced because if this. Is there a different solution?

The only change Mazda made to its lineup of Millennia sedans for 1998 was to discontinue the L Sedan. That left only two versions of the Millennia available to buyers -- the Base sedan and the higher-end S sedan. The Base Millennia was powered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter V6, and came with such standard features as a four-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, a tilt steering wheel with a memory feature, cruise control, automatic climate control, dual airbags, and a lighted entry system. The S version received a supercharged 2.3-liter V6, which pushed horsepower up to 210. It was equipped with an upgraded list of standard features that included leather seats, a power sunroof, and traction control. Generally, drivers were very positive about the Millennia sedan, praising it for its quiet engine, smooth handling, luxury features, and good value, especially when compared to other luxury automobiles. On the downside, some noted that power was adequate but not spectacular, and that gas mileage was not as good as expected.

I'm trying to figure out if a freeze out plug goes where my oil leak is. Are is it a sincere
When I start to drive my car for the first time in a couple hours, whenever my automatic switches from 1st to 2nd gear, the car kicks extremely hard. I can feel a slight kick in higher gears but nothing compares to the kick from 1st to 2nd. Sometimes it does not kick when I coast during the shift from 1st to 2nd. Any time after this kick ouucrs, the hold light flashes on and off and as long as the hold light is flashing it still kicks. Eventually after driving for about 15 min the car will drive normally. What's going on?
My 1998 Mazda Millenia is a no start got new battery, cleaned connections and wires into battery terminals. Still no start. I have dash lights and door panel lights but nothing when I turn key.
