The new V6 engine is introduced with mixed review. Even with the larger, more powerful engine, performance is stifled by the fact that it comes only with an automatic transmission. On the flip side, antilock brakes are now standard in these vehicles. As always, gas mileage, emissions control, cab space and comfort are also all standard.

I love the reliability of the car along with the economical advantage of gas saver. i just don't like how it's beginning to burn the oil and the rust on the rear wheels. Overall awesome car for beginning car owners. I recommend to first car buyers.Jan 09, 2014

A Honda will almost never let anyone down. The reliability is excellent and fuel economy is comforting. Though my Accord is worse for wear, I appreciate the fact it gets me from A to B with little to no incident.Apr 23, 2013

Very torquey motor on this car, especially with the five-speed manual transmission.
Tons of space for both passengers and cargo, although fuel economy isn't quite

LOVE IT, Sporty Honda Accord with a 5 spd transmission, fast, runs good, drives smooth and have not had any problems, handles good on wet roads. The body kit and 18" rims really make this car look sporty. Good car.Jul 21, 2012

Great acceleration and handling, for a 4 door family car that is
Built extremely well, been hard on it
Interior and exterior look good minus the dents that I have put in it
fuel mileage is good except once I get into town

For a fifteen year old car, it's still running strong. I believe both drive axles have
been replaced. It has just had its second timing belt installed, along with a new

I got the ex Honda accord, bought it from a guy that took really good care of it only had 63 thousand miles on it when i bought it great condition , it had a dohc in it and was quick , i was very happy with it , it was comfortable to drive and looked good , had no major problems with it either.Aug 29, 2010

I love my car!! I'll admit, it is a used car! So it has some maintenance
issues. I don't think it was very well taken care of before I got it. Glad I

This was a GREAT car. Full leather interior, moon roof, power everything, ect. I traded in my Sonata for part of the down payment and instantly loved this car. It was clean and the build quality was good as well, it had over 130,000 miles. The very sad fact is that I destroyed this car.. I bought it for about $6,500 and the insurance company rated the damage to be about $7,300... Biggest mistake of my life. Truly was an amazing car.Mar 15, 2010

fast head turner, very reliable. never broke down on me until i rear ended someone. i'd definitely buy another one with no hesitation. the vtec was very fun, and very snappy. go buy yourself a accord you won't regret it.Mar 05, 2010

Performance - V-TEC engine = mean, however too heavy
to be competitive with the sedans but will smoke almost
any other wagon which isnt turbocharged (such as caldina
GTT or WRX)
Build Quality - Honda build quality, unbeatable amongst
imports, engine invincible...
Appearance - Not great, however any attempts to
improve in the form of kits/rims etc. result in it looking even
worse, vulnerable to dents on corner guards, looks good
with roof racks with the foam...
Cost - Awesome value for money ($3k on trademe
w/120kms) will go forever
Fun Factor - Got enough gak to suprise and impress
friends, plus plenty of room for the mates...awesome

around wheel well doors. very cheap to
insure, $1000 a year, and parts are
expensive at dealership so i always end up

i loved this car, failry quick when stock, normal fixes (oil
change, brakes), good on gas. and lots of options when fixing
up, and finding and adding performance parts to the car itself

One hub cap and a dent in every panel on the car. Paint oxidized to hell on the roof, trunk and hood. The radio has not worked in years. 317,000 miles and it still gets almost 30 mpg. Does not even use to much oil. Apr 30, 2009

i love my honda accord!...it is great...great mileage, looks, performance, and comfort!...i think the speed is enough and the handling is superb. it is the most fun car to drive and the cost of ownership is not much!...i would recommend this car for anyone!Dec 24, 2008

Being 13 years old it still runs like its new, even with 180,000 miles on it. Performance is still there after all those miles, still revs to 6-8 thousand no problem. Great buy. But its a Honda so what else could you expect from one of the most reliable auto manufacturers?Dec 01, 2008

You gotta love Honda. They make cool cars that last FOREVER. It's a fantastic first car that gets great gas mileage and will run without problems. Although if mistreated like all other cars it will break down. :/ The acceleration is quite nice and you can feel the 135hp that the F22B2 Honda engine throws down. The interior is classic Honda. Not special but it gets the job done and doesn't look to bad. The exterior has always appealed to me, although the tailights do seem a bit run-of-the-mill-sedan styled.Oct 21, 2008

for a car with almost 160,000 miles on it runs great. the clutch is in great shape, isnt leaking oil, and sounds fine. the interior has been kept up very well. has its little annoyances but are very easy to look over. impressed with stock sound system but aftermarket is always better. great little car to drive and fun on back roads.Sep 05, 2008

Great little car i miss it a bit. Has a great stereo system. i had it in the caribbean and it could handle sharp turns and steep inclines. kinda like those jeep commercials. but in a honda!! lots of wear and tear there so lots of maitenance, but worth it for a honda on the island was like owning gold everyone wanted one.Jul 27, 2008

Where to start? So many bad things. ROLL UP WINDOWS BROKE HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?, Door handles broke, Defrosters broke, ALL gages broke, radio stoped working then worked again, battery problems. no leather no cd, no power anything.Mar 16, 2008

Our Honda has over 220,000 miles on it right now, and it doesn't want to quit anytime soon. Everything on this car still works great except for the silly power antenna, which broke off a year ago in a car wash. It's still comfortable to drive and has enough power to get the job done.Feb 21, 2008

I owned this car for a few years and I thought it was a great car. It is as reliable as it gets with only a very few minor problems. The gas mileage was not as good as expected, it is underpowered, but it is a great all around basic family car with decent passenger room and trunk space. Feb 13, 2008
