Strong, sturdy, durable -- words many owners use to describe their Dodge Caravans. Now up to four million sold, Chrysler celebrated its 10th year of the minivan with an anniversary edition of its Dodge Caravan SE models, marked by a two-tone exterior.
The 1994 Dodge Caravan packed more power as well. In addition to the standard 2.2-liter four-cylinder (100 hp), optional 3.0-liter (142 hp) and 3.3-liter (162 hp) V6 engines, Chrysler added an optional 3.8-liter V6 that shared a 162-hp rating, but was torqier than the 3.3-liter and coupled with its infamous Ultradrive. Antilock brakes were standard on all but the base models, and AWD was optional on loaded SE or higher trim levels on both the Grand Caravan and the regular Caravan.
Other new perks included dual front airbags, keyless entry, reclining seats, side impact protection, and reshaped molding and bumpers. The dashboard saw a minor redesign due to the inclusion of the airbags.

This has been/and is a solid car. Body has stayed in excellent shape, in spite of Ohio winters and salt on roads. Everything under the hood is easily accessible. Putting seats in and out (yes it's the old style) is a pain in the neck. It's a bit scarry having almost everything with still original parts at near 200k. Originally used this daily for everything. At 150k I thought about trading, but decided for 32k, I'd rather have a Mustang convertable- so I bought the pony and kept the minivan for light duty work.Feb 24, 2012

It's a bright red 3.3L V6 powered van with a very nice gray cloth interior. Excellent performance and gas mileage, gets lots of looks. Is surprisinly fun to drive and handles very well. Very reliable, only replaced the battery and brakes. 167kJan 21, 2010

My granpa gave me the van because i rolled my chevy, it has a blue door, the heater dosent work, i hate the thing as soon as i can im going to drive my ford!! i hate the van, it has no heat its so coldDec 31, 2008

Performance: it is pretty fast for a mini van handels well and stops pretty fast so thats that
Built Quality:the only thing wrong with it right now is the ciling is starting to sag
Appearance:outside- pretty ugly its a faded out green inside- pretty clean if you over look the sagging
Cost of owner ship: it get about 15-25MPG. pretty good for a minivan and i havenot had to do anything to it other than an oil change
Fun factor: its more fun to drive than a Kia Rio!!!Oct 10, 2008

I bought this car in may of 08' and it had 171,000 miles on it, but I was getting it for 500 bucks and couldn't turn it down. It looks good too, has 2 small rust spots that have already been sanded but it doesn't look bad. It's still got it's clear coat on it so it was taken care of. The heat works great which is good in Minnesota. It does leak oil right now though and won't hold any anti-freeze so that's a problem. It is expensive though it's got a 20 gallon tank and gets maybe 15 miles to the gallon. But it is a nice thing that you're in a mini van so cops don't even look twice. LOLSep 09, 2008

It has four wheels and goes vroom. It really isn't much of a gas guzzler I get roughly 20 mpg. The only real complaint I have is the transmissions on this model suck. I've had to put 2 diffrent transmissions in my van. I can't say much I paid 3000 almost 9 years ago and have put over a 100,000 miles on this van with just minimal repairs.Sep 08, 2008

well lets face it its a 3.0 V-6 (183.071 C.I.) on a 3 speed auto tranny its not gonna be putting out much power, but it handles extreamly well to be such a big vehicle i mean you have no idea how big it is just by how it drives. and lets face it it might not win the worst car at a show but its no where near the best. and its a caravan so its built well i have had to replace brakes and 1 rotor and change the oil other than that i havent had to make any other repairsMay 03, 2008

1994 Dodge Caravan. 3.0L V6 MMC (Mitsubishi Motor Company). Over 167K miles when the trans went out for the 3rd time. Front wheel drive. K&N cold air intake, thrush glass pack cherry red muffler, (sounded like a cessna single engine plane - kinda felt like one too). Hankook tires with whitewalls. GREEN headlight bulbs (they looked kinda yellow lit up, but put green light on whatevers in front of you.) Custom 3rd brake light, 35% tint on the front 2 doors, 5% everywhere else. Custom interior.
