Supposedly 2007 is the last year for this generation of Dodge Caravans, with a new version due out for 2008 to keep up with the stiff competition from the Honda Odyssey. Still the leader in this segment 23 years after it created the segment, the Dodge Caravan has recently been losing ground to its competition.
Over the years, Chrysler has redesigned the exterior of its Dodge Caravan, with steeper angles and sportier grilles and headlights to combat the boxy image of a minivan.
Inside, the 2007 is little changed from the year before. Grand Caravans still feature such options as leather seats, power liftgate, power-adjustable brake and gas pedals, power sliding doors, three-zone temperature control, reclining seats in the second and third rows, 14 cupholders, and the popular Stow 'n Go option, which configures seating and storage space in a multitude of ways. There are unique storage sites all over the car, literally from floor to ceiling. Engine options range from 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder, to 3.3 and 3.8-liter V6, with fuel economy averaging 18/24.
I bought a new battery sometime last year, My battery light is now on, I tested the battery and alternator, Battery bad alternator good, I put a new battery in last week and the battery light came back on. i had the battery checked again and it came up bad charging system, voltage regulation fail, diodes passed and blank for charging current, I'm assuming its the voltage regulator. Can you help please btw its a 2016 dodge grand caravan
I have a 2007 caravan (not grand). Can I remove third row (back bench 3 seater), and install a captain chair back there for just one seat? Is that doable? Also can I use the front row passenger to do it or do I need a whole new seat? I only ever have 2 people in this van and would like to move the front row passenger seat to the back row left side if possible, while getting rid of the 2 benches
We bought a 2011 dodge caravan mainstreet used. Right away we noticed that the passenger side and the rear vents only blow heat. The driver side will blow cool air or AC, but the passenger and rear blow high heat no matter what the setting. We brought it back to the dealer and he said it was the dials that were broken. We believed that because the rear dial just spun freely. They replaced the whole interface and it worked for a short time. Now the dials all seem to work appropriately, but again the passenger and rear vents blow high heat no matter what the setting. As a result, we either have to turn all the air off or switch every vent off except the driver side when we want AC. What could be causing this?
