98sable won't start ?
The engine turns easy and tries to start but doesn't,sprayed fuel into intake and same thing , and sounds like it's getting spark ,so what else would you check and how,crank sensor ,can sensor how do you check

Its a nice car, way more than enough power. Handles well in
the corners and it is very easy to get it over 80 mph. The
RPM's should be lower at highway speed, that is why it only
gets 21.5 as a avg mpg. Would buy again, it has been a

amazing power for the money has 24v dohc cam duratec engine, makes 225hp, 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds, handles very well for size minimal body roll, excellent Goodyear triple treads for traction, styling could be best described as "sleeper" subtle styling points that the average person wouldn't notice, averages 26.3-7 mpg commuting from janesville and back everyday, great fun for the money, put the hammer down at any speed and expect to be put back in your seatOct 26, 2009

Should I list my Mercury Sable?
I have a 1998 Mercury Sable that ran when I parked it. It needs work but I want to sell. It has the 24 valve engine Duratech V6. Im not sure if I should list with cargurus?? I think more car guys would be interested for the motor than the care itself but, I'm not sure. I parked it when I bought a different car. I do miss the get up and go that car had!

Vin ID versus actual engine
My vin shows an S intead of a U for the engine type and the car was bought new by the previous owner (It's a one owner car) . My question is how is it possible for the engine to be a 24 valve Duratec Twin DOHC when the vin says it's a OHV engine ?
