Overview

The Ford Explorer helped revolutionize the family-friendly SUV segment back in the early 1990s, and this midsize SUV is still a popular household name today. Ford introduced the Explorer ST AWD for the 2020 model year, to give the Explorer new interest in terms of performance and styling. The Explorer ST features a potent powertrain and other performance upgrades such as a sport-tuned suspension system. Furthermore, it stands out from the rest of the Explorer lineup thanks to its black exterior trim and exclusive 20-inch wheel designs. Key competitors include the Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, and Chevrolet Traverse.
