Which Toyota Venza trim should I buy?
The 2023 Toyota Venza offers these trims:
- LE: the entry trim with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+; a smart starting point if you want the core Venza experience.
- XLE: adds the larger 12.3-inch multimedia display, roof rails, heated front seats, simulated leather upholstery, front and rear parking proximity sensors, and reverse automatic emergency braking; this is the best-value trim.
- Limited: adds a surround-view camera system, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, and the JBL premium audio system as standard, making it the most feature-rich choice.
What Toyota Venza do most buyers choose?
The Toyota Venza years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Higher-volume model years tend to be the easiest to shop because you usually get more color, trim, and price choices. They also tend to be the years most buyers cross-shop first when looking for a newer used Venza.

Im sorry it was a limited few years. I didn't like the older versions. The newer ones seem great. Nice interiors. Huge screens. All the bells and whistles with a Limited. Plenty of cargo space. Sleek looking. Great mpg. Drives very nicely. Several good color choices. I'd like to see more white interiors. They are hard to find.

The features are semi-luxurious, and everything tends to work, even at high mileage. Avoid the panoramic sunroofs, they leak. Reliable engine and extremely roomy back seat. Average size trunk.

I really like the ride and feel of this hybrid model. Since they phased out the Venza I decided I wanted the Venza in a 2024 model year. This suv doesn't have all the loved features my 2017 camry had but I think this is the one for us. I wanted a Red limited with low miles. I found this one with low miles and it is a beauty. I do believe it has the right features for me. The adaptative cruise is nice. The blind spot monitor is actually a very nice feature. The Venza needs more phone interaction than my Camry so that will be an adjustment for me. The stereo is amazing. The ride is so comfy and it is so quiet when in EV mode. So is the power mode when the gas engine kicks in.

Why it stands out
The 2022 Toyota Venza stands out by blending wagon-like proportions with crossover SUV practicality, giving it a distinctive shape that sets it apart from more conventional midsize two-row SUVs. It also comes with a standard hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain and standard all-wheel drive, which makes efficiency and traction central to its appeal rather than optional extras.
Toyota pairs the Venza’s hybrid setup with a 2.5-liter gas engine, an electric motor, and a continuously variable automatic transmission. The EPA estimates up to 40 mpg city, 37 highway, and 39 combined, which helps explain why fuel economy is one of its strongest selling points. It also starts at $33,240 and includes standard advanced safety features, adding to its value proposition.
The Venza’s strengths are clear: it is fuel-efficient, standard AWD is a major advantage, and its comfort and quiet ride are appealing to many owners. At the same time, its technology can be unintuitive, its design may not suit everyone, and cargo space is limited, so buyers should weigh its efficiency and refinement against those practical compromises.
