What should I look for when buying a used Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, plus blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking on the Woodland Edition and other higher trim levels.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch digital driver display and 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: According to the EPA, an AWD Sienna should get 35 mpg combined.

Which Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna offers these trims:

• LE: The entry trim gives you the standard hybrid setup and the core Sienna family-hauler formula at the lowest price point.
• XLE: A step up for shoppers who want more comfort and convenience while staying focused on value.
• XSE: The sportier-looking choice for buyers who want a more expressive appearance.
• Limited: The upscale trim for shoppers who want a more premium-feeling Sienna.

• Platinum: The top luxury-oriented trim, adding the most premium equipment, including the onboard vacuum and FridgeBox refrigerated box.

What Toyota Sienna do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Sienna years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a broad mix of availability, newer features, and enough inventory to compare prices and trims. They also line up with the years that many shoppers are already targeting for a balance of value and modern equipment.

What is the Toyota Sienna's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want prices that have softened. The declines are strongest on some of the newer and mid-cycle years, while one older year is essentially flat and another is slightly up.

The 2015 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2015, 2014, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
