Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota’s Active Safety Suite
• Infotainment: an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support

Which Toyota GR86 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota GR86 offers these trims:

• Core: The Core is the entry point, and it suits you if you want the GR86’s lightweight, driver-first character at the lowest starting point.
• Premium: The Premium adds summer-performance tires, black wheels, synthetic suede and leather upholstery, metal-faced pedals, and the eight-speaker audio system, making it the best-value trim for most shoppers.
• Yuzu Edition: The Yuzu Edition adds matte-black wheels with gloss-black lug nuts, Brembo brakes, Sachs dampers, yellow interior accent stitching, black interior trim, a commemorative plaque, and Yuzu yellow paint.

What Toyota GR86 do most buyers choose?

The Toyota GR86 years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

Higher-volume years tend to be the easiest to shop because you get more listings to compare and a better chance of finding the right color, mileage, and condition. They also tend to be the years most buyers gravitate toward when balancing price, availability, and deal quality.

What is the Toyota GR86's resale value?

The price changes are mixed, but the newer model years are close to flat overall, which can help used buyers shop with more confidence. The older and newer ends of the range both show modest movement, while the middle years are especially steady. That pattern suggests the GR86 has maintained broad appeal across several model years.

The 2023 and 2024 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2022, 2023, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Power from the 2.4-liter flat-four engine is modest, at 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, and automatic models are EPA-rated at 21 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined.
• Tech: The GR86 has a standard eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
• Safety: The latest model adds rear parking sensors with the automatic transmission, while the Premium and Yuzu get blind-spot monitors.
• Starting price: The Core starts at $32,695, including a $1,295 destination fee.
