Owners consistently praise its thrilling driving experience, strong handling, and distinctive styling. They also appreciate the upscale cabin feel and the way the 911 works well for regular driving, even though ownership can bring higher running costs and limited practicality.
Expert reviews rate the 2025 and 2020 models among the highest across all years.
The main trade-offs across recent expert-reviewed years center on highway wind buffeting, tech that can feel a bit confusing, and the absence of a manual transmission on the base model.
25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
Are Porsche 911 models reliable?
Owners consistently praise the Porsche 911 for its strong performance, engaging handling, and rewarding driving character. Expert reviews also reinforce its polished road manners, solid build quality, and everyday usability.
- Owners rate the Porsche 911 between 4 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

This 911 Turbo S was painted in Aventurine which is one of the rarest Porsche colors, and it was paired with a sumptuous truffle leather interior. The only option missing was the front end lift. There is no comparison to the 911 Turbo S.

Why it stands out
The 2025 Porsche 911 continues to show why this sports car formula still works so well. It marks the beginning of the refreshed 992.2 generation, bringing subtle changes to the face, interior, and power output while keeping the familiar rear-engine shape.
