Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: BlueCruise, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centering assistance, post-collision braking, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, and Turn Signal View.
• Infotainment: Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen control center.

Which Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator offers these trims:

• Navigator Reserve: The base version brings the Navigator’s clean, architectural cabin design, the 48-inch panoramic display, and the 11.1-inch touchscreen, making it the best-value starting point for shoppers who want the core luxury and tech experience.
• Navigator Reserve Jet Appearance Package: This adds a blacked-out look with blacked-out wheels and details for buyers who want a more distinctive appearance.
• Navigator Black Label: The top trim level adds quality materials, the Sunrise Copper paint color, and the most upscale presentation in the lineup.
• Navigator Black Label Special Edition Package: This adds the blacked-out styling treatment to the Black Label, along with the special-edition visual details.

What Lincoln Navigator do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Navigator years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2022.

Those higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, newer features, and pricing that has already moved down from original levels. That makes them easier to shop and compare while still keeping the Navigator’s core luxury and space appeal.

What is the Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it opens up more value at lower prices. The steepest drops are concentrated in the newer model years, while the older ones show smaller changes. That pattern suggests you can often get a lot of Navigator for the money once the first few years of ownership have passed.

The 2016, 2017, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Lincoln Navigator safe?

• 2025: 9/10
• 2023: 8/10
• 2022: 8/10
• 2021: 8/10
• 2020: 9/10
• 2018: 7/10

The 2025 Navigator includes BlueCruise, a standard hands-free driving system with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning.

For the safest used buy, the 2020 and 2025 models both post the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Lincoln Navigator now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −21.21% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −15.41%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 34% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 35.3%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $54,412. The Lincoln Navigator offers a spacious, comfortable cabin with strong presence and a luxury-first character that makes it especially appealing for families and long trips.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Lincoln continues to use a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine in the 2025 Navigator. It makes 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, bolts to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and has a towing capacity of up to 8,700 pounds with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and 22-inch wheels.
• Tech: For 2025, the Navigator adds the company’s Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen control center.
• Safety: In the 2025 Navigator, Lincoln uses BlueCruise 1.4, the latest version with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning to give large trucks traveling in an adjacent lane a little more room.
• Starting price: With a base price of more than $100,000 including the destination charge, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator sits at the top end of the segment.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
