Not a good value, over priced. Took vehicle for test ride. Brakes are soft, surface rust will only get wires, paint flaking, underneath covered in black rust proofing more probably to hide more rust. For a 1997 the truck is in average to below average shape. Offered dealer $9K they declined and wanted the high price of $13K. Don’t waste your time with this dealer, they don’t bargain at all.

You get what you pay for.You never buy one of these trucks because you want a vehicle that gets 30 mpg. The 7.4l, 454 was the best drive train ever for this truck.On long rides, it's as comfortable as an suv.With the full size bed, you can bring a ton of stuff with you (literally)

lots of torque good towing capacity& good acceleration for a diesel truck-good ride quality for a 1 ton truck good fuel economy heavy towing capacity (16500 lbs) only major expense was a transfer case and a pcm in the 90,000 miles i have driven it
