New & Used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona for Sale near Reseda, CA

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It makes the strongest case for itself as a four-door electric muscle car that adds real practicality to its extraordinary performance. The retro styling carries over well, the cabin is spacious, and it is genuinely fun to drive, which helps it stand out if you want something with personality and speed.

The trade-offs are just as clear: poor visibility, cheap-feeling interior materials, and sluggish touchscreen response all undercut the experience. Those issues matter more because the car’s price pushes it into luxury-car territory, so you are paying a premium and should expect more polish than it delivers.

Even so, if you want an EV with standout style, strong performance, and a usable back seat, it remains compelling. Good and great deals account for 33.8% of listings, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is presented as a modern electric muscle car with a straightforward EV powertrain, and that simplicity can work in your favor for day-to-day ownership. Its electric setup avoids the complexity of a traditional high-output gas performance engine, and the car’s performance hardware is paired with an all-wheel-drive layout that should help it feel stable and predictable in regular use.

The expert evaluation also points to a well-integrated EV package, with charging scheduling, charging-station finding, and other EV-specific functions built into the car’s tech. That kind of setup can make ownership easier if you charge at home and use the car as intended.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the basic drivetrain concept and more about how the car was driven, charged, and maintained before you buy it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this car’s performance hardware and electronics can be expensive to sort out if something was neglected. Focus on cabin condition, touchscreen behavior, and whether the car’s charging and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup is centered on Scat Pack, and the four-door body style preserves the car’s styling while adding practicality. Base-equipment gaps matter because some desirable features are bundled into option packages rather than included outright.
• Powertrain: It uses dual electric motors with all-wheel drive, making 630 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, with 670 hp available via Power Shot. The setup is quick and traction-rich, but the car’s weight and wide stance still deserve a careful test drive.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist is the named driver-assistance suite, and it uses adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Standard equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the front, side, and rear. Surround-view cameras and a blind-spot camera are included only with the available Plus Group package.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 16-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and over-the-air-friendly connected tech through Dodge Connect and EV Pages.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100.5 kWh, with 93.9 kWh usable. DC fast charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes, while home charging on an 11-kW AC setup takes 5.4 hours for the same charge window.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car was typically charged, and make sure the battery warranty still has meaningful coverage left. For a used EV, you want evidence of normal home charging, limited abuse from repeated fast charging, and no warning signs in charging speed or range consistency.

Which 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 1 trim level: Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

The Scat Pack is the only trim, so your decision is really about how much equipment you want to add through packages. It already delivers the core Charger Daytona experience: huge performance, all-wheel drive, and the car’s distinctive styling. If you want the best-value path, this is it, because there is no lower trim to step down to.

The available packages matter a lot here. The Plus Group adds useful safety-related hardware, while the Track Package brings performance upgrades such as adaptive-damping suspension and Brembo brakes. The Carbon & Suede Package and Sun and Sound Package help improve the cabin experience, which is worth considering because the interior quality is one of the car’s weak spots.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona?

• Inventory: There are 213 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 98.6% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes with a long list of standard driver-assistance systems, including Active Driving Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Standard safety equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the front, side, and rear.

The only safety-related options are surround-view cameras and a blind-spot camera, both tied to the available Plus Group package. That means you should pay close attention to package content if you want the fullest safety and parking-assist setup.

Should I buy a 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It adds a four-door body style that improves practicality without giving up the car’s performance character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The earlier model established the Charger Daytona’s electric-muscle-car identity with strong style and instant acceleration.

The bottom line: If you want the most practical version of the Charger Daytona, the 2026 is the one to target because the four-door layout broadens its appeal without changing the core formula. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 may be worth a look, especially if you find a cleaner or better-priced example with the equipment you want.
