Is the 2025 Subaru Solterra a good car?
The 2025 Subaru Solterra lands in a moderate position overall, with market data pointing to a usable but selective-buying proposition. You’re looking at 33.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.
That deal share makes the Solterra a reasonable choice if you value the model’s electric-SUV packaging and are willing to compare individual listings closely. The market signal is encouraging enough to keep it on your shortlist, but not so strong that you should rush.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car’s records match its condition. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since condition can vary even in a strong clean-inventory market. Focus on how the car was maintained and whether the listing details line up with what you see in person.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and comparison-focused.
- Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 94.1% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It brought meaningful updates and better value without a price increase.
Consider the 2026 if:
- It adds a new look, NACS fast charging, and more available horsepower.
The bottom line: The 2025 is the right path if you want a current-year Solterra and you’re shopping the market for a fair deal. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 is worth a look for its value-oriented updates, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the newer improvements and can stretch for them.
