What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering has a clean record. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and cabin condition, since those areas matter most on a used EV. Focus on overall maintenance and wear, not just the listing price.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It adds charging, safety, and comfort updates without a price increase.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a new look, NACS fast charging, and more available horsepower.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right starting point if you want a current-year Solterra with a decent deal share and strong clean-inventory availability. If you’re focused on value, the 2024 is the better price-sensitive alternative; if you want the biggest improvements, the 2026 is the stronger upgrade path.
