For a used purchase, that mix suggests you should shop with a clear target on condition, equipment, and price alignment. If you find a well-kept example that matches your needs, the market data points to a reasonable chance of finding a competitive deal.

Should I buy a 2025 Rivian R1S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right path if you want to shop within this year’s market and take advantage of a decent share of well-priced, clean listings.
