Is the 2025 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Porsche 911 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 model year marks the beginning of the refreshed 992.2 generation, and it keeps the familiar rear-engine shape while adding subtle changes to the face, interior, and power output. That combination lines up with the car’s appeal as a sports car that still works for everyday use.

The trade-offs are clear: highway wind buffeting can be an issue, and the tech is slightly confusing. Even so, the 911’s strong ride quality, handsome looks, and solid daily livability make it a compelling choice if you want a sports car you can use regularly.

About 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Porsche 911 is built around a familiar formula that emphasizes performance, usability, and refinement, and the expert evaluation highlights that balance. Its strong ride quality and polished driving manners suggest a car that should feel composed in regular use, not just on a back road.

The performance hardware is substantial, with a twin-turbo flat-six, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and standard adaptive dampers helping the car feel both quick and controlled. The infotainment and instrument setup are more modern than before, though the interface can take some getting used to.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that a high-performance sports car can be expensive to keep in top shape, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with this much performance hardware. Focus on how the car has been used, whether the electronics and driver aids work properly, and whether the interior and exterior show signs of hard driving or deferred care.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Standard equipment includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: The center screen measures 10.9 inches, and wireless Apple CarPlay is supported. The digital instrument cluster measures 12.6 inches and is clear once you learn the interface, though the system can feel a little confusing at first.
