Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings the Grand Cherokee formula into a three-row package without giving up the brand’s emphasis on capability and premium features. That makes it appealing if you want a family SUV with a more upscale feel than many mainstream rivals, while still keeping the rugged character that defines the nameplate.

The lineup also includes a wide range of trims that run from basic and affordable to luxurious and pricey, so your experience depends heavily on how far up the range you shop. The higher trims are described as first class, with fine leather and advanced technology features, including Active Driving Assist and a front passenger entertainment screen.

Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is presented as a capable, premium-leaning SUV with a broad trim range and available hardware that supports both family use and serious utility. Its appeal comes from that mix of comfort, technology, and Jeep character rather than from any single standout mechanical claim.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is mostly about choosing the right example: a well-kept, properly equipped truck should make more sense than one that has been neglected or heavily used off-road.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s equipment and service records match the listing. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more complex features. Focus on overall condition, since the Grand Cherokee L’s value depends heavily on trim, equipment, and how well the previous owner maintained it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,957 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,883, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $38,883 sits slightly below last year's $43,092.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the vehicle at a more reasonable entry point. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale value to depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum alone. Well-equipped, well-kept examples should hold up better than basic or heavily worn ones.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a strong choice if you want the Grand Cherokee L’s three-row layout, premium feel, and capability in a market that currently gives you decent negotiating room. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
