Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 7.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,600 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Honda’s approach is different from most midsize pickups: it uses unibody construction, standard all-wheel drive, and clever storage solutions to make the truck easier to live with day to day. That lines up with its comfortable ride, great handling, and practical cabin layout.

The trade-offs are clear, though. It does not match traditional rivals for towing capacity or off-road capability, and its technology is described as outdated.

For shoppers who want comfort and usability over ruggedness, that’s the right kind of compromise. The market also shows 36.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s overall formula supports that impression: it emphasizes refinement, everyday usability, and a no-nonsense interior rather than complexity. Its smooth V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, and the unibody layout helps improve ride quality, handling, and overall refinement.

Honda’s standard warranty coverage is in line with what you’d expect in the segment, and the model’s practical design should help it age well if you keep up with routine maintenance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its limited towing and off-road capability may not fit every truck need.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that’s been used for work. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of hard use, since the Ridgeline’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline’s trims differ in styling and equipment, and the TrailSport adds off-road-focused hardware such as all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate. Base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to the standard feature set and make sure it covers the equipment you want.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Ridgeline uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. The setup is smooth and responsive, but it is not built for maximum towing or serious off-road use.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system is comprehensive, though the lack of a 360-degree camera is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: You get a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The interface is functional, but the system is dated compared with newer rivals.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 21 mpg combined, 18 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6 powertrain, and the practical cabin layout. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model, but you should compare its equipment carefully against the higher trims.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience while staying below the TrailSport and Black Edition in price. If you want a more polished daily driver without paying for the most specialized trim, this is the one to focus on.
• TrailSport: This is the trim to choose if you want the Ridgeline’s most off-road-oriented setup. It adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, but it still isn’t a hardcore off-roader.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim, and it’s the one to consider if you want the most upscale presentation and the most equipment. It also gets the eight-speaker audio system and rear USB-C ports.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, so you don’t need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,600 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,216, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $36,216 sits slightly below last year's $39,194.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than on broad market appreciation.

The Ridgeline’s practical strengths should still support demand among shoppers who want comfort and usability in a pickup. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, along with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. That’s a strong feature list for the class.

The IIHS results are mixed: the Ridgeline earned a Good score in the updated side crash test and the original moderate front overlap test, an Acceptable score in the small overlap front test, and a Marginal rating for headlights. The lack of a 360-degree camera is another notable shortcoming.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you’re getting the refined version of the current generation.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,568, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $36,216 average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim, tech updates, and a more traditional pickup look.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this generation and don’t mind paying a bit more, the 2025 is the cleaner choice. If your priority is value, the 2024 is the smarter path because it delivers many of the same core strengths for less money.
