Used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 7.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,444 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado earns an 7.83/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

You get a right-sized midsize pickup that should fit in your garage and be easier to park in town, plus a powerful standard turbocharged engine and impressive off-road capability. The trade-offs are a lack of a long-bed option and some sticker shock, even if pricing is mostly in line with key rivals.

The market also looks reasonably accommodating, with 36.7% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado is presented as a well-rounded midsize truck with easy-to-use technology and strong capability, but its appeal is more about overall package than proven long-term durability data.

Its standard turbocharged engine is described as delivering power quickly, with minimal lag right off idle, and the transmission shifts quickly and smoothly. That points to a drivetrain that should feel confident in everyday use and when towing or heading off pavement.

Chevrolet also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit on the house, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck with strong off-road hardware and higher-spec equipment can be more expensive to keep in top shape over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a truck that may have seen towing, trail use, or heavy commuting. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, underbody wear, and signs that the truck’s equipment has been used hard.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: WT looks the most basic, while LT adds body-color exterior pieces and nicer wheels. Trail Boss adds a factory lift, skid plates, and off-road tires, Z71 adds more polished exterior details and off-road hardware, and ZR2 brings the most aggressive appearance and hardware.
• Powertrain: Every Colorado uses a 2.7-liter TurboMax four-cylinder with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. 4WD is optional on WT and LT, but standard on Trail Boss, Z71 and ZR2.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator and automatic high beams. Blind-zone steering assist, reverse automatic emergency braking and rear park assist are also standard.
• Infotainment: Every Colorado gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in software, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, and Alexa Built-In connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The base WT with RWD is rated at 19 mpg city, 23 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined. Adding 4WD drops it to 17 mpg city, 21 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined, while the ZR2 falls to 17 mpg across the board and the Bison package to 16 mpg in all driving scenarios.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the value entry point if you want the Colorado’s core capability without paying for extra appearance or off-road gear. It keeps the truck simple and gives you the standard turbocharged engine, but it’s the most basic-looking version.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more polished look with body-color exterior pieces and nicer wheels without jumping into the pricier off-road-focused models.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a factory lift, skid plates, and a more trail-ready setup right from the start. It’s the trim to target if off-road use matters more than everyday polish.
• Z71: This is the step-up choice if you want a more upscale feel with stronger off-road credibility than LT, but don’t need the full aggression of the ZR2.
• ZR2: This is the most capable and most specialized version, with the most dramatic hardware and appearance. It makes sense if you want the Colorado’s off-road flagship and are willing to pay for it.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard across the lineup, and Teen Driver technology is standard on all models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,444 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,948, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $38,948 sits slightly below last year's $42,110.

That softer pricing suggests the Colorado is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. If you’re planning to sell later, you should expect the market to reward well-kept trucks, but not necessarily give you back what you paid at the peak.

The good news is that the Colorado still has strong appeal thanks to its capability, tech, and off-road image. The challenge is that today’s lower average price can make depreciation feel more noticeable if you buy near the top of the range.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-zone steering assist, reverse automatic emergency braking and rear park assist are also standard.

Chevy’s Teen Driver technology is standard across all Colorado models, letting parents set speed and audio limits based on the key being used.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.51% compared with last year.
• It pairs strong off-road capability with easy-to-use technology and a right-sized footprint.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,560, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $38,948 average.
• It emphasizes modern lifestyle-pickup appeal with refined on-road handling.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the lineup simple with one powertrain and five trim levels.
• It adds a new Bronze Accent Package and updates Trail Boss and ZR2 paint choices.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and capability, the 2025 is the better all-around target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter price-sensitive play.
