Used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 9.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,824 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare trims and conditions.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth performance, towing capacity, and roomy cabin, and those strengths make it appealing if you want a midsize pickup that can handle daily use while still offering real utility. The Colorado’s broad range of trims also helps you match the truck to your needs, whether you want a basic work-focused setup or something more capable for family and weekend use. With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback highlights smooth performance and a truck that feels dependable in everyday use, with towing ability and cabin comfort standing out as recurring positives. The same owner feedback also points to some concerns about features that could be improved, so you should expect a used example to vary more by condition and maintenance history than by reputation alone. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk is manageable if you choose carefully, but it is still worth screening for signs of deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, even when a listing appears clean, because prior damage can affect value and future repair risk. Put the truck on an inspection lift if possible and pay close attention to the transmission behavior, cabin condition, and any signs of uneven wear. Since some owners mention comfort and feature-related concerns, focus on how everything works in person rather than relying only on photos or trim descriptions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market for buyers, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,824 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,695, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $25,757 sits slightly below last year's $28,484.

That softer pricing suggests the truck has already moved through a meaningful part of its depreciation curve, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. A lower entry cost gives you more room to absorb normal depreciation before you sell. Strong demand for well-kept examples should also help the better trims hold value more effectively than rougher, higher-mileage trucks.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,494, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,757 average.
• The redesign brings a crew-cab-only layout with updated tech and stronger standard equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2022 is the smarter starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for the redesigned truck’s newer layout and updated features, the 2023 is the better upgrade path; otherwise, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly choice.
